Illustration for the Still Here Still Life weekly illustration challenge.
The illustration was based on a photograph provided by the jewelry creator Night Time Holiday.
It's difficult to illustrate a still life starting from an image created by an artist. It's very tempting to just reproduce the image. The image was already well-balanced, each element was in the perfect spot.
For this challenge, I tried to swap out some of the original elements with new ones, while maintaining a clear visual connection to the original reference.
