Is it all a dream?
If there is even a possibility that our Earth is in fact a simulation created by a more advanced civilization, our odds of living in the base reality are one in billions.
Or 50/50, depending on who you ask.
This animation was initially conceived as a response to the Folktale Week challenge. The challenge offers prompts, based one which you can pick a folktale to illustrate the prompt.
The prompt had been "Dream," for which I chose a kind of modern day folktale, the idea that we are living in a simulation, or in other words, a dream.
This first animation became a series, which included two more animations.
They were featured as AR pieces in an exhibition showcasing the capabilities of the ArtLink app, a digital platform that offers AR services.
