An homage to the last days of summer.
Summer is depicted as a magical beast, just preparing to get up and leave. Its expression is completely neutral, in contrast to the desperation of the character trying to cling on.
Scattered about are the remnants of summer feasts: the last cheap fries that are too tough and burnt to eat, the empty plastic cups of beer, the dregs now warm and fizzless at the bottom.
And an empty tube of sunscreen, because we always wear sunscreen.
